Default New HD 48 - Slip on vs full system (With Screamin' EagleAir Cleaner Kit)

Hey guys,

I boght a new Sportster Forty Eight 2016. I already added a Screamin' Eagle Performance Air Cleaner Kit. Now I'm getting ready to pick some new exhaust and was set on v&h Short shots due to the look/sound and full exhaust system.

After some research it seems that short shots aren't the greatest for performance and that slip on's might also be a good way to go as far as performance gains. I like the idea of full systems but it seems the best is a 2-1 system and I just don't like the way those look plus they are $500+

Some of the systems and slip ons that got my attention are these:

Rush 3" Slip-On Mufflers
Vance & Hines Shortshots
Arlen Ness by MagnaFlow Lowdown
S&S Power Tune Sport Exhaust

What I'm looking for is:
1 - Look and Sound
2 - Performance
* Don't like 2 to 1 systems
* Price is not a big problem as long as it's under $600

Any advice would be awesome

The rush slip ons are awesome and everyone seems to like them. I originally wanted short shots but after some research found out from a performance stand point they suck!! If you just want to be loud and have the same boring pipes as everyone else get the short shots. If not look into the rush SO also look t cycle shack SO and bassani SO.

If you want a nice 2-1 system though check out patriot defenders. One of if not the cheapest 2-1 system and performs well. Google hammer performance they have a whole section of just dyno sheets of a lot of popular exhausts. The rush SO are what I'm looking at and was one of the best performers. Don't go bigger then 2.00 baffles though after that on a stock bike people hVe had negative feedback.

Thanks XMikex,

I did some more research and i think my new favorites are the "Bassani Pro-Street Exhaust System" but I'm not finding them for the 2016 forty-eight.

Do you guys know something about these 2 to 2 Bassani's? And is it possible to fit one 2013's exhaus in a 2016 bike?
