OR, do I have to machine a new axle? I would prefer to not have to machine a new axle.

BTW, first time poster. Excellent forum.

Hi all, does anyone who has completed this conversion know what length clutch cable they used? I'm having trouble finding a cable the right length to get my clutch adjustment perfect. I converted my controls to the 7/8 and thinking of trying a shorter buell clutch cable? Thanks in advance

All depends what bars you are running, drags, buck horns, apes, etc., my dealer can get custom lengths and most aftermarket companies will also, take a string and measure the route you clutch cable will run from the lever to the primary, that should give you a good idea of what length you will need.

Barnett will make anything you want. http://www.barnettclutches.com/

I have one with a Kawasaki lever end and Sportster clutch end, quick and perfect.
