I may be looking at a new battery this winter as well. Where did you get it and how much? When I look at battery prices in the states compared to here I can't believe the difference in price

You're correct. Battery prices in Canada are insane right now.

From www.batterybuyer.com - shipping is from Hamilton Ontario area:
Deka ETX16: $145.25 CDN, Canada Post Service (Expedited Parcel): $19.68 CDN, 13% HST Tax $21.44 CDN = Total $186.38 CDN (it's a shame their computers can't add properly. This is not my addition, it's theirs)

The only good news, delivery was pretty quick, & the post office delivered to my community mail box.... only had to drive a 1/2 mile, round trip.

I would not recommend getting a battery less than 300CCA, this is a case where more is better.
