That sucks...-I LUV XLF!--I LUV XLF!--I LUV XLF!--I LUV XLF!-ing thieves...save the trial a simple .22 behind the ear would be cheaper and prevent it from happening.

Sorry man...hopefully the insurance takes decent care of you...

I hope they give me enough to pay it off and then buy something else. To make matters worse, it was a local part time cop that stole it.

Is that the bike, now painted blue? Part time cop? Wow.

It doesn't look that bad in your pictures.

Doesn't look that bad to me either. Did this make the news at all? Which police department?

Compare it to the pictures before it was stolen and you will think otherwise. Besides, it went for a swim as well. And no it did not hit the news and he was a pt Glassport and pt Forward Township cop

They changed the whole front end, painted that beautiful solid chrome rear wheel, basically stripped all the money parts.

Looks like the same front end. Just changed wheel, deleted caliper and accessories. Looks like just cheap rattle can with no prep over the paint. Probably polish or peel off. If it wasn't running or completely submerged for long. It might be salvageable.

If insurance gives retail for lost accessories and total bike out, you might look at offering a $200-500 to buy it back. If fixable, great. If not part it out and put the money in a new one.
