Once. We just had our 10 year anniversary and are going strong.

Engagement rings are nonsense. We have a lot better things to spend our money on. Maybe we're still married because we're both happy we didn't waste a bunch of money on a status symbol.

Once, I didn't get married until I thought I was grown up enough, at age 35. I chased skirts with a vengence when I was younger. .

All of my friends had been married and divorced more than once, so I was scared that I'd make than mistake.

Finally, I got tired of strange beds and no one looking after me. Settled down and asked God to bring me a good woman and deliver me from a life of sin.

I got what I asked for and have been very happy for over 17 years.

Once....
Big "D" after 8 years.

Nothing better than a good marriage but nothing worse than a bad one.

Sure, a great marriage would be good to have but I don't like failure and I know I married TOO early (21)! It was almost an arranged thing. Got out of the Navy one month and married the next month. Too darn quick. All planned before I got home.

I can go anywhere I like and do what I want without permission.

Almost got married a few times before but they never knew it.

Nice to share life with someone else but I don't need someone who isn't fun. Life is too short. Enjoy it. It struck home last week when I read the local paper and saw my cousins obit (cancer) in the paper. He was 4 months older. Life hits you a little deeper then.

I'd rather wish for something I don't have rather than wishing I didn't have something I do have.
Think about that one.

What do I get in return?????

Another "to do list!"
I'm afraid you have a long road ahead of you Diesel.

I voted once is enough for me. Have spent 32 years of my 53 year life married. Anything ever happens to her or to Rascal my Boston Terrier, they will not be replaced. (for the record, I did mention her before the dog)

Something in common.
I've been divorced the same amount of time you've been married.

Evidently my divorce has worked out better than my marriage.

Not that I wouldn't try it again, just hesitant because this has worked out so well.
Is this a success story?

A quarter of my annual income.... for a ring! Sounds like an idea that was thought up by the owner of the jewelry store (Who's probably been divorced three times).

Yea... Looks like Im gonna be single a Loooong time if I gotta cough up THAT much scratch for a ring. If I could afford that, I'd be eating something besides Top Ramen and Progresso Soup every nite.
