Default First start up!!

Whats up guys after a starter rebuild, my starter turns my 85’ sporty over.
Now whats is it that ishould do to begin the start up?
I bought the bike from a dude who said it was running till the battery got shot but i found it was both battery and starter, both changed now im hoping for a miracle.

Check all fluids. Pull the choke and fire it up.

Better check your brakes and tire pressure before going around the block.

I would take a compression check (even cold you can tell whether the valve train is working)... After you get it running, take another compression check... Keep the numbers for future reference...
