Maybe the factory ones were round? The ones in my earlier post showing a comparison are a cheap knock off with a skinny cable, and a Barnett cable, both square. When I was in touch with Chevelle about buying the part he mentioned knocking the corners off the square edges to prevent snagging as it rotates…the action of using the clutch will do the rest over time.

Okay, the question is, "Why is the "T" at the low end of the cable square when the claw of the worm is round?"

I'm gonna round off my next cable T and report back....someday.

‘Just the way it aways has been manufactured, even the Barnett Replacement, Simply take a Dremel and round off the Sharp Corners, Note that all my Ironheads have Chevelle’s Worm upgrade , it’s Simply a Stronger set up
