Paul,

Working on a customer's bike, Big bore kit, ported heads, cams the works.
Got the heads on, rocker boxes with covers and all.

Forgot the torque the heads to spec.

Torqued them when I did the clay and solder test for valve clearance and squish, but forgot when I put them together after that...

rocketmangb, let me guess, you don't have the collapsible pushrod tubes???

Whooopee, the “big” torque wrench finally showed up. A sweet Snap-on Tech3 digital 250#ft model. Except after fussing for 45 minutes trying to make it usable I still get a “batt” error, even tried another set of batteries, known to be good. When first turned on it flashes the main screen, and a quick glance the battery gage shows 100% with either set of AA alkaline batteries, but before you can set N,in or ft it displays 0000 then the batt error. Anybody have experience with these tools? I really want to ride!
