Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, just up the road from the Chico Brewery. My wife bought me a Kegerator a few Christmas' ago. Always a keg on tap out in my shop. I can sit in my shop with a fresh beer and dream about what I am going to do to the Sporty next as it is parked right in front of me.

Too many alcoholics in denial in the world. Smoking is the lesser of 2 evils and far less damaging to society tho I do neither now days being a truck driver subject to random UAs.
Save the legal nonsense for someone that doesn't know any better. The times they are a changin'...

Lost my tolerance to alcohol as I got older (61). The hangovers are worse too. I'll have a glass of wine (white with fish dishes or chicken & pork, red with dark meat) once a week. Also enjoy Indian Pale Ale but it's quite strong & one bottle or pint (on draught at my local pub) blows me up. A Gentleman Jack on the rocks is my favourite spirit. Can't stand Scottish or Irish whiskeys despite having a lot of Scot & irish in me! I'll drink once or twice a week now, was a beer monster til I got in my 30s. Quit smoking in 1994

Kind of new to the forum and maybe not the brightest bulb on the tree.
Sometimes, I consider myself lucky just to be on the tree A fitting metaphor for a thread about preferred ways to get 'lit'

Glamazon's comment resonates with me. I think that most of us can recall a time when we could start consuming mass quantities at happy hour, close down the bar, find our way home, and be up at 6am to go to work the next day.

At 58, I drink a couple of Manhattans once in a blue moon and I am asleep in the recliner shortly thereafter.
