Finally - On the road today for about an hour and a half - enjoying the breeze, curves and the RPMs...

Cloudy with a bit of sun, temps in the mid-50's - Gravel, Sand & Salt still to be avoided - Careful around the curves...

Not nearly as much fun as summertime when the curves are clear and the RPMs are rockin' it... Still, it was nice enough to enjoy the acceleration on the straight bits...

Good to see you're out riding.

Max respect riding in that. Early last year I dropped my bike on ice, lucky no injury & only minor damage. I ride all year but won't do if there's ice or snow about

Thanks for the props, but it wasn't a dangerous effort, despite the snow on the ground... No icy conditions after two days of rain & then two clear days...

As my username indicates, I'm not a daredevil, macho biker, or without a cage to drive when it's ugly... I ride to enjoy the relaxation (with a few twists of the throttle when safe)...

I'm really glad to get at least one ride per month over the winter, especially this one that's been so cold and rainy/snowy - It would be torture to go 5-months without riding...

Well - This is post# 6000 - When I joined, I never thought I'd have that much to say...

But, I'm just going to drop a note here to say I'm hoping to ride this week with temps above 50° - Woo Hoo ! ! !

I did make it out for a March ride today. I enjoyed getting Kool Therapy. 52° and overcast.

Rode for about 50mi and stopped for this picture of the privately owned covered bridge at Messiah College near Bowmansdale.

Out riding again today - This time with my brother.

We rode about 60 miles in the late afternoon. One of the places we stopped briefly was at the Haines Shoe House (notice the mailbox). It's now an ice cream stand, but you can read more about it in my ride report (link below) named 'Bridging the Susquehanna - 2014'.

I was out riding again with my brother... The temps finally reached into the 70's and we spent the afternoon riding in the southern part of York County.

We stopped at an area called Shenk's Ferry along the Susquehanna River:

We also stopped at the Stewartstown Railroad where they are working on restoring the station and a number of cars hoping to create an excursion railway.

Be sure to click on the link to my Motorcycle Chronicles
in my signature below in order to read about our day riding
and the places we stopped for pictures.
