+1. I live less than two hours away from the D-Day Memorial. It is beyond words and no patriot can visit it and not have tears in his/her eyes! It is not government-funded. The builders did not want the government to interfere with the truth or the longevity of it. It is built in Bedford, VA, in honor of "The Bedford Boys". Google it.

Actually, I still have a can of Nev'r Dull from a long time ago.
Mostly full and still works.
(I never was one for that sort of thing, if it's nice enough for polishing, it's nice enough for riding.)

Right now I have them shined with Kit wax.
I was thinking of doing the edge of the rims and pully too but that would just be another thing to keep up with. (Along with the engine that needs touched up ).

"Patina" is my new favorite word. My Sporty had it when I got it and I plan to keep it that way. I call it, "character". If you're old enough to remember getting a new pair of leather shoes or boots and you couldn't wait to break them in, to get that "new" look off of them, then you understand where I'm comin' from.

Compulsory annual vehicle inspection for anything over three years old. Stands for Ministry of Transport, although the dept in question hasn’t been called that for years.

Oddly enough our Construction and Use Regs aren’t fully consistent with our Road Traffic Act; C&U don’t require a speedometer, although it must work if fitted; RTA does require one, so you can get an MoT on a bike which isn’t fully road legal
