UPDATE:
Nearly 2000 miles later, the new throw-out bearing and grenade plate removal continues to make rides more enjoyable than ever. I ride mountain twisties all the time it seems I shift every few seconds throughout all of my rides. The smoother and easier clutch pull (to me, anyway) and slightly quicker clutch engagement are far better than what I had before, which weren't that bad in the first place and the parts I removed were still in very good shape. So I figure went from "good" to "better". I encourage everybody to do this. It's not expensive, not hard to do and the only special tool I needed was the clutch spring remover.

Does anyone know if the new EFI Sportster's have the same spring plate and clutch throw out bearing?
If I ever decide to add a new Sportster to my garage, I would definitely replace these like I did on my current 2005 model. These mods, along with my external crankcase vent and manual petcock mods, are the best things I've done -- so far.

All 5 speed Sportsters 1991 to present use the same spring plate 37977-90, EXCEPT the XR1200 which uses the judder spring setup from a Buell XB.
The XR1200/Buell XB judder spring parts can be installed in an XL, did this myself and it works well, spring plate is gone and no clutch squeal when taking off in first gear.
(I tried the two steel + 1 friction plate replacement for the spring plate first and got a VERY annoying squeal)

I have about 13K miles on my 04 XL1200C, So the spring-plate is on my todo list. I think i want to go the XR1200 route, but i haven't tried locating the parts yet.

How hard is it to find the XR1200 Spring Parts? Is it something the Local Dealership would stock or would i have better luck looking online?

Good Point, Updated Profile.

My Dealership Options are Rockstar Harley in Fort Myers and Bert's Black Widow in Port Charlotte. I prefer Bert's, Took my safety course there. Great People.

I was just wondering if XR1200 Clutch Parts is something common for the dealerships to stock or not.

If i have to wait for it to ship to the dealership, I might as well order online and ship it to my door.

My local dealer had the 2 steel plates you need in stock but none of the 3 XR1200 specific parts, I ordered them online...
