I would like to know, how are shaft bearings in the tranny lubed?

Spinning shafts throw oil outward. Which splashes on the gears etc.
There is only 1 qt. of oil in the tranny. Not enough to cover the gears I'd think.
How does oil get into bearings?

Splash. Think of the inside of the transmission being like following a car down the highway in the rain, just with oil instead of water.

Or maybe Hippysmack can give you 50 paragraphs of pseudo science...

stuff in that trans spins fast nuff the oil goes literally everywhere in there
thrust surfaces are notched or grooved so oil gets to bearings
made a partial primary cover to watch a buell trans that had a "clicking" noise in 3rd
wanted to watch it run w/oil
1200 rpm drill turning it via mainshaft, shifting it thru the gears
