Thanks s for all your input.
I have sent the bike to a workshop since I don't have so much spare time or expertise to investigate myself.
Really appreciate all your help.

The deutsch connectors for the left and right handlebar switches are under the gas tank. Lost my left switches when I changed my handlebars and found that the deutsch connector, for the left switches, had pulled 2 pins out inside the connector.

Surdyke is the internet parts sales side of Tim Surdyke's Gold Star Harley Davidson. located just South of St Louis Missouri
When you deal with Surdyke you are dealing with a Harley Davidson Dealership, one dedicated to veterans

I have dealt with them in the past, with excellent results. I would certainly recommend them

Be sure ... There are two modules for Harley's (two different module numbers)
1- Turn Signal Module (TSM) - Without Security (no key fob)
2- Turn Signal Security Module (TSSM) - With Security (requires the round, black. plastic key fob with RF-id chip)

For the TSM Strictly follow the install instructions from Harley Davidson, I don't recall it requiring dealer programming.
For the TSSM (Since its security) you will need that module programmed to your bike at the dealership.

The module is located under the battery compartment, Just in front of the rear wheel plastic shield. You can see the module numbers, peering through there with a flashlight.
