Default Iron head decal

I am restoring my 1978 iron head it has a black oil tank with a decal on it but is scratched so am going to paint it , anyone know where i might get a replacement decal for my tank .

Probably get better response if this were posted in the ironhead section,but I digress.
The decal for the 1978 kidney shaped oil tank is Part number 62521-78.This would be contingent if you have the XLH model and not the XLCH model.

Put that number in a search engine and see where it leads you.

Put your model(XLH, XLCH,XLCR,XLS etc.) Ironhead in your profile so's we can help with yer questions more accurately and post those questions in the Ironhead section.
Not many of us venture out of the Iron Sporty section, no need to...

Assuming you have an XLH, the part number above is correct.

www.NOSParts.com has them sometimes, for around ~$50

I had some reproduced based on an original decal that Ironmick had. I think I still have several left, I'll check. My reproductions are completely indistinguishable from the originals. If I still have them I'll send you one for $25.
