Default More Roads to Harley-Davidson

I just got this link to H-Ds long term plans and I thought I'd share it with everybody here. There are some very interesting aspects to it. It sounds pretty good, but then, it's supposed to; it's a tool to attract investors. Most of it makes sense to me, but I'm only a retired working class tech and not a businessman or investor.

Interesting note; Germany/India, 2030, UK/France/Taiwan,2040...Outlawing internal combustion engines. H-D's take no prisoner attitude is reassuring. I don't care what they sell to the "Huddled Masses" or where they are made. If successful it will insure the "TRUE ENTHUSIAST" will continue to motor happily down the road on their BTs and Sportster.

This is really interesting. Thanks for sharing.
I sold my HD stock finally after this years dealer meeting. I am still happy I did so, as I see no real growth to the HD brand or bottom-line for the next few years.

However, this information is helpful and will keep me watching the companies overall financials in the next few years.

The most interesting thing I found was they project a 2% decline in US grand American touring style motorcycles between 2017 and 2022. While they see a 7% increase in adventure motorcycle markets. I have also bought a BMW R1200GSA and have moved that direction with at least one of my motorcycles. It is good to know that HD sees the market and has a plan to pursue this market and others in the next few years.
