So after having some really nasty back/leg/foot pain caused by a herniated l4-l5 disk I had my steriod injection yesterday, and this morning I got to put on my camo, grab my bow and head out to my favorite section of woods for some hunting.
Two days ago this was not something I would have tried. Hell I was using a cane if I had to walk more than 20 yards. This morning I did more than four miles humping thru the woods pain free.

I would suggest to anybody with lower back problems that they see a neurologist and not a chiropractor and find the real cause of their pain.
‘Sciatica’ is more than a single issue with one nerve. The sciatic nerve is just one of three major nerves that are bundled together and run down your leg that can causes severe pain in your back and leg and each nerve causes different problems.
After multiple years of this pain being controlled with steriods I finally elected to have the bulging section of my disk snipped and that should end this problem forever.
Now it’s time to roll out a bike and get back to riding again.

Been just putting up with it for a while. Perhaps I will take your advice. Retirement seemed like a better time to address it, but.........
