I'm presently randomly searching for pics of points of interest to add to both existing articles and future ones.

I have created many new headings with a few pics from here to there in the REF section just for a better outline for future articles.

Pick an article:
I'm working on a page for polishing aluminum.
http://sportsterpedia.com/doku.php/t...shing_aluminum

If anybody has or can take pics of something they have polished, especially 'how to', I'd like to include them. What did you use to polish it? Buffer, hand, drill, wheels, paste?
These are the future questions I will be trying to address in this article.

Tools section:
I started a page for grinders.
http://sportsterpedia.com/doku.php/t...k:ref:tools154

I was using mine the other night (late), got stupid and let the piece get loose and it bucked off the wheel.
Then I thought, I bet someone else would benefit from my mistake. So, I started the page.
I love tools anyway and love to see them.
I plan on showing and listing what tools can be used for and what not to do as well.
Maybe it'll help somebody else.
Walk around your shop. Take some pics and tell us what they are, used for, where to get them, how much they cost...etc.

Bike specific:
Handlebars seem to be something a lot of people want to know about.
Take some pics of yours.
Are they stock? What year and Model?
Aftermarket? Brand? Dims? Control cable lengths?

Wheels same questions.

Take a pic of something on your bike and tell us about it.
I just about bet I didn't know it until you showed it to me.

There is historic value in every nut and bolt on your bike.
What size? Length? What is it used on?

These are some of the questions I ask myself when searching pics on the forum.

Default Oil Filter info for SportsterPedia

Maybe this will be usedful.

I created a spreadsheet of many of the oil filters that fit our sportsters.

May be differences for the older models, I used my 2013 XL1200C for many of the lookups.

I also listed some that are actually car filters, most cross to the HD part numbers, some do not.

Most have links to the product info pages from the manufacturer.

Thank you very much.
I will post it to the Sportsterpedia REF section since it may apply to older models as well.

Hmm, I seem to have forgotten what the original message was about! That's what happens when you get to become an Old Fart [70 yr. old]! I seem to be forgetting a lot of stuff these days. They say that's what happens!
