Mojave3555 is an unknown quantity at this point
Default 2003 XLH 1200 stater keeps cranking

i recently aqquired an XLH with ape hangers and when i turn the key everything is normal but when i put the kill switch to the "run" position the bike cranks like im pressing the start button but will not start because there is no spark can anyone help?

Look for pinched wires in the right handlebar button cover.

if I remember right, power to on/off, power jumped to start button, only operates when in run position, could be starter button or cross wired

You passed the memory test...you may now pass Go and collect $200!

Yes, stop/run powers start switch.
In this case the w/bk from the stop/run may be pinched to the bk/r to the starter...or the start button contacts may be fused together.
