Default Pivot bolt torque spec

I've converted my 2007 Nightster to the newer style swingarm pivot bolt. fNot sure what year that appeared, but it uses one bolt going all the way through the swingarm pivot. Does anyone know the torque value for that?

It came in in 2014. I'll look up the torque spec.

It's 120 - 130 ft-lbs. That's from the 2015 FSM, with the new one piece bolt.

Thanks, Folkie. I knew it was different from the old setup.

Nytstr, is that a direct replacement swap into the older swing arm pivots? I would guess the bearings & clips would also be needed, but can you take the old bits out & just put the pieces from the '14 & up right in?

Nytstr, What parts did you have to use to make the change besides the bolt?

It looks like just the bolt and nut are different.

The old style takes 2 bolts, no nuts.

You would likely need the new swing arm pivot shaft from the rear engine mount assuming the threads for the old style are in the pivot shaft.

Nytster hasn't come back to answer my question, so I looked all the part #'s on Ronnies microfiche. The part #'s for the bearings, bearing retainer rings & isolators were the same. The pivot shaft, the longer single thru-bolt, nut & retainer clip were the 4 parts that were different. It appears to me that those 4 parts will directly replace the 2 bolts & pivot shaft, with no other changes needed. Pretty straight forward swap, as near as I can tell.
I need to be checking the swing arm on my 93,000 mile '09 for bubbling paint &/or corrosion in the near future. If it needs to be removed to be cleaned or repainted/powder coated, I plan to do this conversion. If I do end up doing this I will come back here to follow up & let y'all know how it went.
