There's 10 reasons to use a AGM bettery
I hate to disagree, but there are 11 reasons. You forgot to mention that an AGM battery won't leak acid all over your bike.

I have 76 XLH and use a Champion battery for Vrods. Its smaller than the stock battery and is AGM. I rode for probably an hour with a popped generator fuse and this thing didnt die. Im running points ignition and didn't have the lights on so im sure that helped. Cranks over perfectly no signs of struggle.

There was a good discussion on this forum some years ago about using the VRod battery. A good idea it seems.
