Lightbulb Need adjestabe Push rods or exact fit solids

Just got off the phone with bob woods cam manufacture and sure enough he said was only cause I wasn't using adjustable push rods that head bolt holes push rod would want to strip from pushing up on the rockers with them sharp ramps.

Said to get some S&S or Screaming Eagle Adjustable's, and then call him with what lifters I'm using (new S&S 2017 precision ) what the rod thread pitch is, and he would tell me how many turns to use for my bike exactly. But I'm sure the gasket thickness would be woot with hydraulic lifters.

When I mentioned what some one mentioned about rocker ratio geometry he said that's looney crazy.

We'll I think I have learned the hard way about using adjustables in the first place cause the cams circle isn't like stock he said, non concentric or some wording.

I got lucky he picked up on a Saturday, said usually closed but was doing in between dyno runs and picked up phone. Seemed pretty sure of him self in a stubborn senior man way makes one think he knows his cams.

Boy was he a fun stubborn ole Alabaman to talk with. Knew his stuff.

Still would rather go the way of using adjustable just to get the length, them custom made from the links list above from good feedback.
