Default chrome slip-ons black pipes

Do you have chrome slip-ons on black pipes.
pictures ?

this is the only picture I've found.

If I look long enough at it, I might start liking it, it happened before

Some bits of chrome on a black bike can act as highlights, to each his own.

They'd look better if you replaced the header heat shields with chrome ones. It's the heat shields, not the pipes themselves that are black, or chrome.

So many people junk the stock pipes, you ought to be able to pick up some unwanted chrome heat shields pretty cheap.

If it was me I'd get the mufflers in black though.

I know is super subjective and I agree with the chrome bit in the black canvas

but only the slip-ons in chrome ?

it feels unbalanced, asymmetrical ...

Good Idea!

I wander what would it take to chrome the shield ?

The 2nd hand market here is small, import duties and shipping might make it bit impractical for me.

I painted the head pipes black when I did my 1250 upgrade last month. With the chrome mufflers, I think it now looks like an "old school" hot rod. I was going to put the chrome shields on, but I like the black pipes/chrome muffler look a lot better now. After 30 years with chrome, I can use a change.

I like it. I guess that's all that really matters.

Looks great ! , is that original tank or you swapped it ? ... I love the smaller tank!

You have way more chrome/metal bits than the IRON I have , its balanced

Thank you, it is the original tank. I agree, I think the black, chrome, and aluminum is well balanced on my bike. I think H-D may have gone a bit overboard on blacking stuff out on the newer bikes, JMHO.

These are the pipes I have, when they got so cheap they put the chrome ones on a black bike, pissed me off. If you black you bike out, go all the way.

Well ... money rules.
Not everyone is made of money

I'm going black-on-black, because it worked out cheaper ,
...and hopefully does what I wanted

BTW full chrome system on black bike looks the money .... to me

Don't particularly like the above shield, ... but hey ... is not my bike
