fork oil change with Ricor intiminators
How are Ricor intiminators removed to do an oil change? Must be a common task but can't find how to do this. After 40K miles my forks are still great but that's double the recommended oil replacement interval.
Thanks Bryan

Do they need removed? I wouldn't think so just to drain it. But if they do, they're just sandwiched between the damper rod and the spring. Pull the spring and you can slip them right out.

If you need to remove them get one if those telescoping magnets and slowly pull it out. It is easier to pull them out so you can measure the proper level of oil in it plus the intimidators don't allow the oil to drain past them to fast. First time I did them I poured what was supposed to be the proper amount of oil in after i put the intimidators in and the oil spilled over the top. When you install them your supposed to put the oil in first them out them in.
