I'm just a kid, 69.
Most of my racing career I never had a team. Went to the track by myself.
Well, I say by myself but there was always a woman tagging along. They aren't much help.
Well, they weren't until I went sidecar racing. And you have to have a passenger.
But still had to do most of the bike fettlin' myself.
I'll be going (hopefully) to Lake Gairdner next May. Got one team member already lined up. Hopefully, that's all I need. Run to the end they told me, turn left and come back.
I can follow directions.

Australian Bonneville, cool.
That copper plate shows a 193 speed. That is really the average of two runs, one being high 180s if I recall and the return was 201. The magic number. The difference was that the F.I. pills had clogged with a grain of salt. The leaner it got the faster it went. F.I. and 18lbs of Turbo boost. Later in the week it ran several 196-198s then it scuffed a piston and we went home on Saturday.
Will you be running it with the sidecar?

Certainly will be Sidecar Season.
I need to run 126 is all. I want to go faster than Maxie Hooper who took his Period 4 down and ran 125.
He's in a class above me but doesn't matter I'm sure I'm faster than his Honda.
French Owl went 125 as well so I guess we'll see if I'm faster than a Supercharged Flattie as well.
