I need to completely replace all the wires on the ignition module.
they were hacked up, and the existing wires were crispy...

Unfortunately it's impossible to source 18ga or smaller wire locally, so i had to order it from Del City.
luckily, they're based out of wisconsin, so it should only take a day or two to arrive...

In the meantime, i worked on the new speedo (Koso TNT-D64).

i created a harness using Deutch connectors, so that i can easily remove the gauge if needed.
i used the cutoffs from when i installed the new hand controls, so the colors will match exactly.

Currently mounted on the top of my bars, and the harness is just long enough to tuck the connector under the headlight cover.

i had my mech speedo mounted down in the bars, but that bracket prevented access to the buttons on the new gauge.

Next i need to figure out how to remove the cable from the speed sensor (front wheel).
it appears to be pressed, or crimped on.

It just unscrews. May need a little help getting started.

Now i see... the threads are internal. was expecting a threaded cap like the other end.

I had to give it a good yank, to break it free.

Thanks
