How well would it work with a generator? Where its LEDs it should take less power I would say.

Works very well with kick only bikes I have put a few in and only issue was getting a new cap for the lighting system so I would venture to say would work on any as long as it has a Cap or a Batt to smooth out the voltage pulse

Yeah I'm kick only, jockey shift, generator & points. So donu mean like a Capacitor or like a relay maybe? I have the space in my headlight where its I think a 03 headlight.

Just a note, in 2006 H.D. upgraded the headlight reflector, which then threw a very nice solid rectangular beam pattern. Much better than previous versions and not an expensive upgrade. F.W.I.W.

Lightbulb Moto Illumination

Moto Illumination

One of the best less expensive LED lights ever. Even people with day makers with me side by side was vary impressed. Best head light I've ever used, and very bright. I use the the one with the LEDs on out side circular around the edges for low beam, and center with rest of LEDs on hi beam.

Can see reflections from street signs during the day. They got taken over, but still in transition.
