I notice the same thing about the 888’s, but the Cruisetec’s are probably even better.
My local Indy offered to do them at cost this spring. He says it helps sell new products if he could get someone to try them and give a good review. I know I should've taken him up on it but I was spending alot of money on this bike at the time and the stock Dunlops that were new when I bought it had a little life left. The last 2500 miles have taken a toll on them quickly tho. I was hoping to get thru this season but it's going to be close. I can feel it in the front. Doesnt bother me running the rear down to nothing.
I've been comparing different aspects of different tires including price. I keep coming back to the Cruisetecs.

Default Online tire buying

I like this place with its funky 1990s looking website, i've had REALLY great customer service from them!!
http://tiresunlimited.com/

And I also use Dennis Kirk and Rocky Mountain ATV/Motorcycle. Between the three of them I can always find what I want....

Nothing beats going for a ride on some new rubber! I just ordered Michelin Commander IIs front and rear.

I just dropped my front off at my indy. He's swamped today so just doing the front. Do the rear tuesday but the paperwork for both today since the rebate ends tomorrow. $60 back on the American Elites.
Ends up at $200 for the pair.
But for me, it came down to buying American. Performance isn't a word I associate with some of these other countries. Why would I buy tires manufactured there?
FWIW I got good even wear out of the 402F/401 stockers. It pays to pay attention to proper inflation regularly.

I should clarify the rebate on Dunlops. It's $20 for 1 tire, $40 for a set, and $60 if any other service is done. So my indy invoiced me for a clutch adjustment.
I believe it ends tomorrow.
