Few more pics if you guys are interested.

upload
groove for large external spiralok

[url=https://imgbb.com/]upload[/url
Roughed out man with internal o-ring for int seal. Bolts to alum flange drawing in against spiralok and sealing on outer edge of spigot. Nothing special but very secure.

upload
Next it gets machined to accept the stock throttle body seal from Buell XB9. Stock TB pops into that.

upload
Tweaked the chassis a bit.

Tried to keep the stock(?) tank and tray locations. Remove the cast piece and sent it off to Spacecoast to one day live again.
The list of things done is shorter than the still need to do, but Im closing the gap slowly. I have pics of the swingarm mods, the tank mounting mods, the front lower fork mods, the Boatail seat mounts, the XR tail section option mounts ect ect ect ect.....it all means nothing until it runs.
Eng internals are another story.

I know from experience the long runners are nice for setup to keep the carbs away from extremities, great for torque also, but I had idle issues.
The charge would fall out of suspension at low idle.
It’s nice to be able to tuck the TBIs in close.

Do you recall the lengths? I am using 4500RPM for my math and physically getting there as close to those lengths within reason. Plan is to place injectors fairly close to the heads.
Guys please keep the comments and suggestions coming. I by know means have all the answers and am completely open to input good or bad. Who knows, this all may be destined for the scrap heap and stock heads put back on.

"The ring gear looks like a good candidate for a clutch signal. I prefer to try to make the kicker work though."
Pulled head out of ass this morn and have to retract that statement. Ring gear is a horrible candidate for clutch slip for what should have been an obvious observation. Perhaps chopper wheel on hub studs may be a better option.

AlphaN tuning which uses TPS rather than MAP for determining load, you are not likely going to get a serviceable map signal much above idle.

MegaSquirt provides a way to blend AlphaN and SD tuning, MSExtra calls it ITB mode. (ITB = Individual Throttle Body)

MSExtra also provides a way to define a MAP sampling window, but I don't think that will help in this situation.

Yep, ditched the MAP, it will be direct to atmosphere and will be TPS based.
