Surdyke offers free shipping over 99.95 up to 20lbs quite frequently.
Small orders I use my local dealer.
Ok, help me out on this. Surdyke and New Castle have their own HD Website where you can buy parts for different prices?
Will they ship to both business and home addresses? When I order from HD, I just call the local here and they have it shipped to the store where I pick it up.

Hippy
Yes these things I say are true !
You need part numbers to order from them but books or Ronnies solve that.

WOW, now that's a lot of links. I'll run through those and see which ones are still active and weed out the broken links as Baphomet said. Thank you very much!
This being in the wiki will be easier to keep current.

Rocket is correct. ..

Ronnies parts finder is an excellent tool to find part numbers if you have no parts manual. ..key in the make, year and model of your bike, and it will bring up categories and then the diagrams with the numbers, the same as the parts manual.

I have used both Surdyke and New Castle. ..( normally use Surdyke , because of pricing and the free shipping )...if you can't bring up the part number, it's been updated by HD...call them or your local dealer and they will give you the updated parts numbers. They normally don't stock gaskets, filters or oils online.

They will ship to individuals. ..not sure about businesses. ..you must agree to their terms of no resale, etc.

I'm about to play that game as well.

I will be re-assembling my 1995 Sporty very soon and will need all the consumables like bearings and gaskets...

I really appreciate the work already done.

Hippysmack, I will be taking even more pictures as I reassemble everything and will post them on my personal site (FU Photobucket), with tags and descriptions. That way you can use what you need and I won't fill up your inbox.

See, that's the dilemma I have regarding HD. There are so many dealerships...researching which ones deliver, sell online, endless links..
That's why I just listed the main page so others can search their locals from there. I only have half a lifetime left to do this...hopefully.

This is going to take a while and I still haven't finished my previous wiki engagements. But, I also thought of adding a link from the Sportsterpedia to a review thread I'll start in the forum or someone else can. I wouldn't want to populate the wiki with it since I feel the forum is just discussing (and typing bullshit) and the wiki is more of a publication.. I'd think.
