Sounds like he needs fork tubes at the very least, maybe a full set of forks. We can rebuild them. Or possibly he needs a "doner" bike? It sounds like the engine is OK except for the filter getting broken off. Dave, when you have time, can you confirm that the mounting threads and mounting surface are in good shape for that filter?

Amen to that, and I’ll add that after my get off 2 years ago And being winter I had some luxury where I didn’t have pressure to accept the first, low ball, offer. And as the engine, frame and forks were good I have a regular title, not salvage.

my left foot is real sore after getting the 6" pin removed yesterday.well this might last a week or so.still need parts if anybody can help

Look on the bright side you'll be able to tell weather changes in the future quicker and more accurately than the TV in future. Especially if there is a big pressure change.
