I also have ergonomics that are not typical to most riders, I am 5'9" but have short thighs (upper legs) unlike most who have probably lobger legs overall and may be causing extra pressure on the tailbone?

What is your height and ergomomics?

I had around 3000km of seat time before I found it comfortable for 500km plus rides.
5'9", 32" inseam. I run Nightster bars on 2" risers and HD mini floorboards.

Might be worth a try. I've got a couple ridding buddies that have a Le Pera on their touring bikes and they're happy. Thought I saw a pic of your bike with a Corbin, not happy with it?
