Guzzis are neat bikes. Contact Guzzi owners clubs and be prepared to do your own wrenching if you don't live near a dealer. The engine design is easy to work on though. They are Harley-tier simple.

This is a huge misrepresentation.

Anything CAN break. That requires a repair.

Maintenance is the planned service which is suggested to prevent the need for repair.

Hydraulic lifters are generally lifetime components.

Shim and bucket valves generally require periodic checks to make sure they are in spec.

And Guzzis don't use shim and bucket valves but that's another story.
