Guzzis are good bikes. I've owned a few and really liked them.

Overall it feels pretty similar in size, weight, power to a rubbermount sporty.
Maybe it is a tad longer and a tad more spritely (turns in a little quicker). But overall more similar than not.

That makes it more desirable than ever!

It's no heavier than a rubbermount.
I found dropping the oil pan to get to the oil filter tedious. And though I loved mine and kept it ~10 years, it suffered from a lot of ancillary problems (hoses, lines, electrical accessories etc).
Still a great bike and very fun to ride.
I gave mine a make over complete with a Sportster rear fender (mounted backwards).

Took my 93 out for a spin last night...i knew the tyres were a bit tired....no this is not a disaster story....
They are the original 1993 tyres ...300 0 mile son them ..been wanting got replace them any way...
but they were soft..
put 30 psi in them...
got 5 miles down the road..stopped at a mates farm...to pump them up again and chased home again by a more direct route....
That spurred me to try and get some tyres ordered...
Got a set of Kenda K761's on the way ..
ordered the smaller 90/90-19s for the front ...somethign that clears those bloody fender nuts ...so you can remove the bugger without first taking it off
4-6 weeks and they should be here But at least i still have the 04 883 and the 07 to ride
