Read the tuning instructions from S&S on setting the idle air mixture, forget about counting turns, start from scratch and follow the instructions, then tell us how it runs? Does this bike have a flat spot right off idle? Super B's are famous for that.

I'll guess that a B is the same as an E or G and advise that the idle mix screw is very sensitive. 1/8 turn is a significant change.

Get the oil tank hot, not warm - hot. And set it to lean best, that is in until it stumbles then out til it is smooth. Set hot idle a little fast so it's a little happier when cold. Reset ldle mix after making any speed adjustments.

Setting the carb cold, oil tank not hot will usually result in blackened plugs.

This is your baseline, make any other adjustments from this point but don't let it get too rich, it will contaminate the oil with fuel. An S&S carb runs Mainly on the low speed part and the idle is a big part of that.
