Their memories will always live in your heart and mind. All you can do is pass it along to your children, so that they to will have the memories of your parents and you as well.

Rascal, I am 25 years old, and just lost my father 3 weeks ago at the young age of 53. One day before his 54th birthday. He was killed by 2 idiots racing mustangs on a 4 lane highway, one of them lost control and came into his oncoming lane. It is horrible whenever it happens, but I was not ready yet, just like I bet you were not. Good to see someone who made it through the other end of this.

Thanks Ireeman. Not a day goes by I don't think of him, quote something he always said, and all. He really was my best friend.

The years are passing by quickly anymore. This date, Aug. 1, 1981 I lost my father. Even though its been 35 years, I still think of him often. I am thinking of him today.

I think of my parent's each day.Mum died on her 87th birthday, Dad died just over 18 months later at 86 from a stroke brought on by alcohol abuse. I was lucky as my sister & i still had our parents til our mid 50s.
