Well I'm back to the drawing board on my front brake. Found a good master & left caliper, but whatever the heck the fork lowers I bought, they are not correct. They are 39mm, but the bolt spacing is waay off, too narrow. Approx 2.75" between them, and both the 83 IH caliper and the '99 caliper both have a wider spread, closer to 3-3/8".

So, if anyone has one left fork lower from a '99, please let me know.

Lightbulb e84 xlh for sale

Greetings Ironheads! I am looking to sell my 84 xlh. This is the place as you all know and love these bikes. Im sad to do it but am looking to getting another project going and this is the only way to get seed money to start with.
E84 1000cc 4 speed. New paint, new tires. I installed a lockhart oil cooler. Converted to points ign. Apes, Harley branded windshield. Throwover saddlebags. Original FSM included. All stock motor. Keihin butterfly, all new fuel lines. Straight piped with baffles. Highway bars. Chain and sprockets are fine. Runs fine. All electronics work as they should. Disc brakes front and rear. Laced wheels that are in great shape (ie when we had tires off we found no nasty rust under rim strip, actually looked like PO had painted them protected them.) Non original speedo so im not sure of exact mileage but i know its around 28000. Asking 3000 obo. Im in MT so things might have to be figured out to get it to you. Clear title. I will text any photos youd like as I cant do pbucket(dont want to).Per 1 406 220 3304. Thx

Default Wanted 79 XLH, p/n 50938-79

Greetings, I am looking for the tubular rear mount for the passenger foot pegs for a 79 XLH. Not concerned with cosmetics as long as it is straight. Don’t need the foot pegs but if it is a package deal that is ok too. Thanks for looking at the post.

WTB.

Bendix carb float bowl. I really just need the accelerator pump jet but don't expect to fing one of them anywhere. Parts book only lists the complete bowl.
But I also need 1 good tappet block. Ask me how I would up with a set of 3 ?

I don't know. But I'm old. What can I say.

I know shipping to Oz is a pain and expensive. But just thought I'd ask.

What type of block do you prefer? Cast iron, early alum or late? Think I have the bowl too. Still have the turn signals boxed up from the last time, I could throw them all together if youd like. Let me know.

Sorry Mike I fixed my float bowl. With the aid of a super magnifier I found where the hole was supposed to be and managed to get a needle to unblock it.
I'd about given up as I've been playing with this carb for days.
I'm still screwin around trying to sort out what kind of main jet is in the thing. Only number I can see on it is 157 which doesn't correspond to anything.

I need one ally block but a mate in Melbourne saw the post and he thinks he has one spare, Rang ne 15 minutes ago.

Is my luck changing ?

(Spoiler alert - not likely)
