The Rayborn record still stands and can't be beaten, 2000cc S-F at 265.492 in August 1970 (S-F : Streamliner-Fuel)

Same for the Burt Munro's Indian one... 1000cc S-F at 183.586 in August 1967

If some of you are around Bonneville for Speed Week in early August, look for me... I'll be there with -at last!!!- a French bike...

So long, Patrick...

The Fall 2019 GBB will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019.

We are honoring the 1969 Sportster on it's 50th anniversary, and would love anyone with a running '69 Sportster to bring it out, but it is NOT required. The only rule is IRONHEADS ONLY, regardless of the year.

We hope to see a lot of RIDERS dust off their Ironheads and use them as intended - RIDING!

See you on the 14th, and feel free to message with any questions that can't be answered by reading post #1.

The good news:

I'm planning to attend this event, IF I can get the time off. (This is the busiest time of the year for me at work .)

And if my old truck can make the 19 or 20-hour trip to New Jersey.

The bad news:

Due to these completely ridiculous and unreasonable requirements...

...I won't be bringing my '69 short chop to this event. It doesn't currently meet either of these two requirements.

I'll be bringing my "Plain Jane" '82 instead.

Looking forward to meeting you guys, assuming I can actually make it there...
