What do I need to know? 2005 883
It looked very easy when the rather pretty English lass did it in the youtube video l just watched.

The pretty English lady took a chance at destroying her cam bushings.
But the 'customization' of the cam cover to make it look more rugged and getting her pretty face on Youtube was more important.

She is also using the manual for a XR 1200, not an XL, for the torque settings, probably the same though.
