Yes, both of those charts are from the same bike, but the two sheets reflect very different motor configurations. This is our shop test bike and we've run everything you can imagine on it at one time or another, from a basic conversion up through our 120+hp package making 132hp. And we've run a whole ton of experimental combinations as well.

In that second sheet, the motor had our IMPACT 560 cams. But it had other motor mods as well.

I was wondering if I could use the hammer 570 cams in my bike ? 2016 iron 883>1275 with ported 883 heads. I was able to get the Andrews n4 cams to work and they are currently in my bike . But I would love to try the 570 cams . Do you guys think it could work? If it doesn’t work then what else would need to be done to my heads ? Would it cost a lot to rework the heads in order to run 570 cams? Is there that much clearence difference between the n4 and 570 that would push it to far or are they close clearence wise ? Thank you for any help you can offer . And I hope I’m not out of line asking for help in this thread.

Two main things have to be considered when increasing lift.

1) There has to be enough valve to piston clearance.

2) The valve spring has to be able to handle the lift.

Understood, The reason I ask is because an Aarons chart on their test bike they use the 883 heads. And I have the new 883 With the newer spring pack saying this is I believe, But he said the tolerance is very close with the 883 hits but they got it to work. So I was wondering since I have the newer 883 heads and I have aftermarket cams If I I would have any luck with them fitting in mine as well.

And valve to valve clearance during overlap.

I'm under the impression that Hammer pistons have extra deep valve reliefs.
It's always best to measure of course.

If you measured V to P with the N4's, they may know if you'll have enough with 570's
