Default Bolt Size and possible replacement passenger foot peg

Hoping all of you are well.
Wondering if anyone knows what bolt size this might be off the top of your head. It's where my rear fork connects. 1977 Sportster. I'm looking for my manual but not sure if it will be listed and my sizer doesn't go up to that size. Was going to dig around and see if I had any other bolts from the bike that might fit but found nothing so far. Also looking for a passenger foot peg connector to replace the one I broke getting out of the very narrow elevated courtyard I'm parking inIMG_2064.jpeg

Lower shock stud is 5/8-18, according to FPB.

Yes, 5/8-18 on the end that goes into the swing arm. There is a part number change in 1975. I think the difference between old and new is the newer stud is a smaller diameter where it goes through the shock eye but the outer thread remains 1/2-20.
