very easy. the biggest hurdle for me is always getting the software to communicate with module. sometimes takes a lot of re trying, reopening, on/off ign etc. sometimes it works fine. tried several cables several laptops etc. once it communicates its pretty simple.

Is there a harness that I can USB into a laptop?! I saw a video that the guy was using jumpers for the wires needed in conjunction with a USB cable spliced open I assume to get the unit online with the software. How did you do it?!

the proper cable from dyna tek is very expensive if your only doing 1 or 2 ign. theres a few guys on ebay /amazon selling nice cables for 20 dollars they work fine. ive never tried to splice/jumper a usb cable, too small wire for me to mess with and have no idea about how usb works. I figured better safe than sorry. I use both dyna and the ultima version quite a bit and since i primarily deal with kick only bikes this setting usually needs to be programed. also fair warning once progammed to any custom curves etc the dip swithches become inactive.

You do not need to reprogram an Ultima for street use on an Ironhead.

You should include a VOES for best street operation and easier starting.

You don't need a cable.

eBay for the Ultima

It comes with a single fire coil if you buy the kit. (Buy the kit)
