Where exactly are you uploading your photo's to ?
As long as your photo's have unique file names photo's shouldn't be overwritten when you transfer them from one file system to another.
Mind you, an Ipad is an Apple product so it's running on, how can I put this delicately, software that doesn't meet my expectations.

Not using IMG or URLs.
I mentioned directly from the iPad photo library, same as directly from the PC stored photos. That option being available to to supporting board folks. It works great from the PC, without any hosting (3rd party) help. I guess the iPad is the problem, too bad.....

You can't post 'directly' to a post here from a PC or anywhere else. The pic has to be hosted somewhere, and a link inserted in the post using [img] and [/img] tags.

A member can upload a pic to the gallery. That's just hosting it there rather than in ImgBB or somewhere like that. You still need to copy and paste the IMG code to make the pic appear in a post.

Unless you're talking about attachments?

Sorry for the delay in reply......
"....Unless you're talking about attachments?"
Now I am a bit confused about the term "attachments"...... Maybe that is the issue here?
When I am on the desk top PC Microsoft system, I can go to "manage attachments" which opens the window allowing up to 5 attachments. Go to a photo on my PC, highlight and hit "open", It shows in the field, then click "upload" on the "manage attachments" window and the photo is now attached to the post I am composing. That is what I am doing, if not correct, it does work on the PC, but will not work on the iPad. No 3rd body hosting site used, not moving from a site album previously loaded, very simple.

KCinSB,

This thread (http://xlforum.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2070092) explains how I insert pics into posts at XLF using imgbb.com on my iPad or iPhone.
