good dyno!! & bike looks great! a friend of mine here in Australia building a sportster tracker right now & that swing arm looks same as he got, came from GB.

I don't know the exact weight of the standard swing arm or the alloy one. But I have seen mentioned elsewhere that one for a FXR was approx. half the weight of the original (26 Vs 13 lbs). While I have some experience making an alloy arm for a Evo softail special, and that was again half the weight of the original.. though softail arms are more complex and heavy old things.
