Classic 350 series and consequent 500cc singles are not fast, but torque endowed bikes and built for rural roads. They are traditional motorcycles in India and good for traveling across their home country.

There's guys in rural India who maintain them and know how to reassemble them by rote after they've been utterly disassembled. Kind of like some of the Ironhead guys here. I saw a vid and it was pretty impressive. Parts everywhere and fixed bikes going out the door.
