Friday 13th-Port Dover:
Okay, before crossing over from the States, was wondering what the weather conditions, and road conditions were like on your side. Main roads are clear and dry here, a bit on the chilly side. I'm sure "IronMick" and "JohnK" are up for it.

Thanks Ed, river still ice jammed so if I cross it'll have to be either Port Huron/Sarnia or Detroit/Windsor. I intensly dislike both of them. Also see a storm front coming in for Saturday morning which might strand me on that side?

I just spent the day on the road for work. Wicked cross-wind and white-out conditions to and from London. Sarnia was a no-go as 402 was closed due to a few pile-ups. Was no warmer than -12*C all day, and is supposed to drop even more for at least a week.
Yeah, let's saddle up for a leisurely ride tomorrow

C'mon John you've got warm clothes, WTH? Not getting much support on this side of the River but did expect some support from your side!

I enjoy a nice winter motorcycle ride as much as the next guy, but today I was white-knuckling in my 4-wheel drive for half the day, and it's only downhill for the next while. Thanks for the offer brother but I'll have to pass on this PD ride. We can try again a month from now.

Okay, maybe two cups of coffee! The main roads aren't bad but anything else has a slushy dusting or so and really makes it difficult to stay upright! Thanks for the chart.
