Most vendor are repacker for good they receive from china. They don't hold inventory and count on the cheaper shipper to receive their parts.

It has been two days since I was given a tracking number and UPS still hasn't picked up the parts. It's now looking like I was given a tracking number simply to be stalled, yet again. My phone calls, texts, emails, and messages through their website are yet again ignored. I'm just blown away as to why this is so hard? Give someone what they paid for in a timely manner or give them their money back. I hate to say it but it's down to outright lies at this point: So far I've been told on three separate occasions that they were "finished" and would ship. Paul himself told me on the phone that it would be between 6 to 8 days.

I mailed them a letter via certified mail a few days ago, It appears as if they dodged it as a notice was left and they haven't been to the post office to see what it was according to the USPS website.

I'm not waiting around any more and I am taking the advice of sportsterpaul from above. There is one guy on my local police force that is a friend and also, a gearhead so I think he can relate to my situation. I am going to speak with him and get the ball rolling as it was aptly put.....

No one in the PA area up there huh?

If my shoulder was rehabilitated from the recent surgery I’d welcome the opportunity to make a run to Pa. Have made more than a couple trips out that way in the past. Just an excuse for a ride don’t you know.

The location is outside Bloomsburg, PA - Just north of the junction of Rt 80 & Rt11 - It seems to be located in the old building owned/used by Bill's Custom Cycles... I wonder if they are connected???

American Cycle Fabrication Inc
7175 Columbia Blvd, Bloomsburg, PA 17815
(570) 752-8715

I'm not close or I'd take a stop to see what's up...

But the following info should be sufficient for you to contact a local authority to have someone stop by their premises and light a fire under the situation...

No they do not read this forum. They joined the amca forum to somewhat explained what they did to me. There are additional threads on this problem on the amca forum, classic American iron, etc. not all were started by me, and when I called them out in June for this stuff I got a fair amount of hate mail until a few of their longtime customers had trouble as well and started posting. Now the tune is changing.

It was over a week between when I got a notification and when the parts entered the system.

Paul does good work, he's simply struggling to run a business in a world that no longer accepts 1980s shop practices.

Good luck and I hope the parts are right the first time. Mine weren't.

I've some TPMS Coming for my car; waiting for two month now, reason: California fire, at least that it's was written on my tracking update. Yes, they come from China and same as the GM one, even the number and triangle logo. They are made in UK but they have to ''transit'' by CHINA somehow. 10$ each instead of the 90$ Canarian dollar taxes include.

When you want to pay less, you have to be patient.

They finally showed up guys. Thank you everyone for the support, especially R Horn for offering to go by there.

The packaging was pretty "unique". All the parts were stuffed into two boxes and the emtpy space filled up with expanding foam. Had to filet a bunch of foam to get to everything. It was messy and took a while but I guess they were super secure shipping that way. Another box had written on it that the jugs were made in India........ Oh well, they do look like good castings at least. Machine work appears to be good on the bores. However, I will have to dress down the intake threads with a file, the threads got a little knicked somehow and the intake won't thread on. The port work looks pretty decent.

Chuck, your experience is one I came across when reading around about it, the camshaft fiasco. You got hatemail from who?

Yeah I don't know about these guys being cheaper by any stretch. And the work does seem good I just didn't appreciate being dicked around about when they were shipping..... I just received a dessicant and dryer setup I purchased from HF on their website over a month ago.... That one did burn up in the fires out there. A replacement finally showed up a few days after the jugs did.

Thanks for reporting back.

On the threads, try lapping compound. Much tighter threading which is handy for sneaking up on tight for the manifold.

I got hate email from 4 or 5 amca members and two Facebook trolls. On the flip side I got twice that number of support messages from people, a phone call from a really cool dude, and across the net stories started popping up like yours. It was at least gratifying to know I wasn't out of my mind.

The problem is not Paul or his work. The problem is how he runs his business. People seem to not understand the difference.
