Default Best Adhesive Remover That Is Paint Safe?

I want to remove my rear reflectors and the adhesive without damaging the paint surface. I'll use fishing line to take off the reflectors, but I'm not sure which adhesive remover is paint safe. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys!

I've used WD-40 for years. Safe on paint and the glue just rubs off after a soak.

Reflectors are gone and the WD-40 worked perfectly to get rid of the adhesive.

Thanks again Khaskins!

As you have discovered, WD40 does a wonderful job on the glue.

In addition to the WD discovery, I am sure your bike looks a good bit better without the reflectors. Talk about a cheap appearance upgrade!!

I am really surprised how few pick up on reflector removal .

Yeah, the bike looks great....much cleaner. Even the wife said it looks real good. I should've done it a long time ago.
