Was gonna say the same thing, I swapped out the saddle on my hardtail for a wider one but it didn't have the kickup in the rear and I definitely slide back now when I get on the throttle.
Also, be careful about how you position the mounts for the hairpin springs because if they are twisted the metal will bend and fatigue.
