I was on the road again - Enjoying a very pleasant day.

I made my way to the Gettysburg National Battlefield and took some more pics
of the unique and interesting monuments.

Other pics and the rest of the info about my day are at My Motorcycle Chronicles.

Nice Ken, but I worry that there are idiots out there that will want to dismantle them, ugh! What’s wrong with us?

Winston Churchill wrote, “Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”

Today we have totalitarians WORKING HARD to blur the past so no one can learn from it. Deliberately distorting history with constant lying will truly condemn future generations to relive the horrors that history has revealed.

I hope we can continue to ride in freedom the rest of our lifetimes... But I'm beginning to have my doubts...

BTW, I had missed a monument to the 13th New Jersey regiment in my ride report chronicles, so I added that pic and some other commentary.

I was out riding on 9/11 - I saw quite a number of memorial displays and messages.
This one was located above the Codorus State Park.

I saw both a tragedy and an inspiration today.

You can read the rest of the story at My Motorcycle Chronicles.

Nice, Ken, “let freedom ring”! Thanks again for sharing those. Condolences to the hawk, sigh.

It's been a couple weeks since I was in the wind. It just seemed like I had things to do when it was nice and it was raining when I had time to ride... Life doesn't always cooperate in finding happiness.

I'm prepping another ride report - but in the meantime, this Young Buck came visiting outside my window the other day. I don't hunt, but I do have neighbors that are bow hunters. I'm afraid this guy just might be on the menu after hunting season...

I'll get my latest ride report up sometime later today or Wednesday.

Nice Buck! Awhile back we photographed a 10 point velvet covered buck with our trail cam in the yard. I think he is the alpha male around these parts. We have bow season here that lasts til dec 31. Hope he survives.

Trail cams are cool and you see stuff you didn't think lurked around you...

I finally got my ride report up... I was riding over the weekend. It was a great day to be riding - Just a bit on the cool side for short sleeves, but that's what I enjoy.

The temps were in the low 70's and the sky was full of interesting clouds. I rode about 125 miles.

Be sure to check out the bikes & cars I saw while riding:

Ken, I really enjoyed the ride along! Running out of time this year and still rehabbing the new knee. Next year will be the year I get over and share some road with you and your brother! Am already anxious will be counting the days.
